The mission of this organization is to produce a dominant cultural event in Central Delaware which will honor and promote jazz and blues, the two original American music forms and to educate and support young area musicians statewide and allow them to interact with some of the world's finest performers in a professional concert atmosphere.
As a non-profit organization, the DCM is always looking for the valued help of volunteers for a wide variety of activities. Volunteering for the DCM not only offers you the opportunity to experience some truly remarkable live Jazz and Blues performance, you'll also get the chance to meet some really phenomenal , hard working, and dedicated people. But most of all, you'll have fun celebrating the "heartbeat of American music" with kindred spirits.
